Connected Correctly is a business that was founded to “raise the bar” in the areas of safety, quality, education, and overall excellence in the trailer towing industry.
Connected Correctly is a family owned and operated business by Chris Long who is well known throughout the United States as a leading authority in trailer hitches and related towing equipment.
Chris began his career by working for his father at Long’s Northwest Hitch back in 1986 and continues to be their exclusive installation services provider. He has since become a name that is known nationally and synonymous with quality and attention to detail. His high-quality installation and repair work has delighted thousands of customers and has begun to draw people who are looking for proper installation services from around the country well outside of the Northwest Arkansas area.
Chris Long’s expertise of proper installation techniques and methods, was birthed out of his experience in the United States Marine Co. where he was taught to pay attention to every small detail. Chris’s ability to accurately troubleshoot problems with product fit and performance has earned respect and appreciation from major trailer hitch manufacturers.
Chris has been recognized as “the guy from B&W” that performs the “how-to” installations for their series of installation videos and is also a national representative for the American-made B&W Trailer Hitch brand at select trade shows and special events.
By popular request, Chris has recently begun the process of forming a training and certification program that will offer technical education and training for towing equipment installers across the North American continent.
In addition to the management of Connected Correctly, Chris is a nation-wide speaker that works with many professionals around the country in educating them on the proper ways of hitch installation. Chris knows the pulling industry and many have come to respect him as a well-known advocate for trailer safety.
In his spare time, Chris a family man who is married to his high-school sweetheart, Greta, and they have three boys, Hunter, Samuel, and Jordan.
